The hotel had a convenient location near the AAMI Park stadium, perfect for attending events. It also had free parking onsite, which was a great perk. The staff at the reception were friendly and helpful. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was good. it was great value for money. Additionally, there were numerous restaurants in the nearby Swan Street area, offering a wide variety of dining options.

The staff were good. It is a 3 star Hotel. Room quite comfortable and warm. Breakfast was fine. Bit dark and dingy hallways. Lighting in room could have been better. Would stay there again though.

No good lighting to put make up on in room.

Breakfast with a lot of choice (porridge, bread, Nutella, jam, fresh fruit etc), there was always more until the end. Location really good near botanical garden and a relaxed cafe scene nearby, we almost liked better than the city center.

Arrived at night, there was no parking available (there are about 20 parking spaces for 60 rooms). We could park on the street because the next day was a Sunday and there were no fees, but during the week we would have had a problem. The parking lot was one of the reasons why we chose this hotel. Otherwise the hotel is very old. Rooms very brightly heard, we heard the neighbours snoring. And therefore not worth his money. Without a parking place you can get much better hotels in the city centre for the money.

The hotel provided great value for money, with reasonable prices and attention to detail. Its location was ideal, close to public transport, restaurants, and all Richmond attractions. The staff were friendly and provided excellent service. The rooms were clean and had comfortable beds, and I loved the iron-wrought balcony which added a charming touch to the overall ambiance. The basic amenities were all in place, and the ensuite bathroom was a convenient feature. The breakfast spread was generous and helped kickstart the day's activities promptly.

The only downside was that the window in my ground-floor room could only be opened partially. It would have been better if it could be kept open for a little longer, say until at least noon.

I often stay there..I Have the worst sense of direction, so find it useful to stay at the same place. It's unpretentious, central and consistent.

My recent stay at Richmond Hill was fantastic. I was in Melbourne for a short visit and the hotel provided everything I needed. I also loved the hotel's location, its affordable rates, and the unique charm of its age. Lastly, the free parking was a huge bonus. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient stay.

The staff and the service were top notch. The hotel was very clean and very comfortable. The location was very convenient too in between Swan & Bridge Street where you can find everything you desire within walking distance.

I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel's value for money. The prices were affordable, especially considering the location just outside Richmond Park. The staff were attentive and ensured that every detail was taken care of, from the comfortable beds to the basic amenities. The rooms with private bathrooms provided a great view over eastern Melbourne, adding to the overall charm of the hotel. Additionally, having breakfast included in the rate was a delightful bonus, with a beautiful spread of fruit to start the day.

This hotel offers great value for money with its affordable prices. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly, providing excellent service throughout my stay. The basic amenities in the rooms were all there, including a comfortable bed and all the facilities required. The hotel's location just outside Richmond Park was perfect for everything Melbourne has to offer, with good public transport links to explore the city.

Reception staff were sooo friendly and helpful. Breakfast was really nice (not a hot breakfast but great continential). We stayed in Room 44 at back of the hotel. Large and comfortable. Location to shops, well connected train station and trams was amazing.
